Viva la Posterous

Okay… here’s yet another reason Posterous roXors: it took exactly three clicks to import absolutely all of the content from the old Moveable Type blog! That was easy. Too easy, in fact… I’m wondering what funk lies in wait around the corner. Unfortunately, there’s no amount of wizardry that can rescue the approximately two years worth of swank that fell before the mighty rush of a Rackspace server crash in December, 2008…

St. Nickery

We here at the Tree House are kicking off the holiday season with a new blog by the swanktastic crew at Posterous. It’s been a crazy holiday season but we seem to be weathering the blitz… so far ;) What better way to celebrate our new posting platform than with a post about trimming the tree!

Blowing in the Wind

We've been noticing the lack of a vent hood above the stove lately. Sure, there's a snazzy looking Thermador stainless steel über air vent behind the stove but that's just cutting it.

Negotiations are currently underway to discover what, if anything can be placed over the stove or on the back wall without obscuring the view.

I mean, really... it's all about the view, right? Screw functionality! ;)

Here We Go Again

It seems a crew of gremlins loaded aboard the server feeding Austin Tree House to the world and ate its innards atop handmade melba toast. Sadly, all of our previous entries were lost and scattered into the digital void.

Although we will be making efforts to rebuild some of those posts from the original text notes and images, you shouldn't expect much. Free time here at the Tree House goes quicker than meth at a top 10 university :)

Nonetheless, we want to make this year's blog bigger, bolder and louder, a particularly daunting challenge to those of us who have a particular Bacchanalian fondness for Purple Rain and wildfires ;) We've got a new webhost, a revised cast and will try to throw in some worthy twists for the overly dramatic among you ;)
