We arrived home from a trip to New York and awoke to a pleasant surprise. Der Gnome had been updated by the AustinModHouse crew with fresh newfangled Orangeness®. He also has some youngins that could only be the result of unfettered gnome love.
Now we know what goes on when we're away from home ;)

and little gnomes stay in their homes.
Eating, sleeping, drinking their wine.

We here at Austin Tree House have a fondness for the special things in life... like sea creatures attacking from the sky.
I got the impression that he doesn't live a pineapple under the sea!
Tonight's sunset was beautiful with a huge amount of reflection in the clouds.
After the orange light faded, Der Gnome picked up the slack.
This evening the moon showed up just after sunset. It was a pretty unique sight!
Der Gnome observed La Luna's ascent in reverent silence.

After the light faded, Der Gnome gave us his mighty orange salute.
Sadly, Der Gnome's colors have slowly faded over the last few weeks, especially after the recent Beowulf style thunderstorms. He has become more of a sherbet than day-glow orange. The Crew will have to make a maintenance visit soon
