Independence Day just doesn't have the same panache as it used to. Maybe it's the ever increasing gas prices or the tumbling real estate prices that's dampening everyone's mood. But, hey, it's an excuse to blow up stuff and eat meat. And that's what America is all about... nowadays anyway ;)
