Last Sunday we woke up unusually early and decided to make our way down to Hippie Church at Maria's Taco Xpress. The temperature climbed to 104 degrees! After a mere fifteen minutes of sitting in the sun we certainly smelled looked just like hippies ;)

Our hero likes to keep it real.

Tacos are long and strong at Maria's Taco Xpress.

Mama and Babycakes pose with a positively groovy tortilla.

Beer + Tacos + Sweaty Bodies + Dirt Floor = Hippie Church

Shady, a hippie girl at heart, proudly displays a soon-to-be born love child.

Playa-Pimp proudly demonstrates how the love child came to be.

Ol' Dad preps Playa-Pimp for fatherhood with a liberal dose of Tecate.

Hippies, not generally known for their rowdiness, contemplate the next evolution of liberation.

Thanks for the warning ;)

Hippie chicks know how to stay alive.

Somehow we knew this was our kind of gospel ;)

Business-hippies enjoyed the air conditioning inside.

The warmongers tried to break free of the chains of love.

Where hippies retire in style!

Playa-Pimp and Shady let onlookers know they best be steppin'.

Mama shot Ol' Dad the universal hippie girl holla.

I have to go to this church when I visit
